About Us
Pasture Health is our focus
We use intensive rotational grazing methods for our Icelandic sheep herd. This allows the pasture to recover fully before our sheep return, giving the sheep the best grazing possible. Our pasture is a diverse mix of grasses and herbs allowing the herd choices and medicinal plants for their health. We believe that our sheep deserve the best and are allowed to be full sheep doing sheepy things.
Born and Raised
Our Icelandic Lambs are born and raised on the farm. Some are friendly and photogenic! Our sheep live a good life! We ensure a happy relaxed sheepy life for the whole flock!
Wool and Hides
We offer high quality wool yarn from our Icelandic sheep, milled by us at Stramba Fiber Mill, soon to be Powers Acres Fiber Mill.
Keeping the Land Wild
We believe in keeping the land as wild as possible. We do this for the animals and bees. We use regenerative practices and build soil health by grazing intensively, not tilling, and allowing the wild plants to flower.
